Interstellar is a fashion brand born out of Naarm’s Northside. Stella runs this brand primarily as a creative practice, which explores parts of herself, femininity, and spirituality. ‘The Vault’ is a compilation of pieces from the archive that have their roots in the ‘Angelic Realm’. This is a place where Stella finds inspiration, connection, and hope.

The practice now becomes a business. This allows Stella to begin disrupting the harmful fashion system that exists today. All items are made in-house using natural fibres and sustainable cutting methods. These first steps may seem insignificant, but they are leading us into something bigger…

Stella sees fashion as a portal to Utopia. Fashion reaches so many people; from the farmers growing the textiles, the designers, patternmakers, machinists, stylists, and bodies who wear it - fashion impacts us all. By creating systems rooted in Decoloniality, where people and environments are uplifted rather than exploited, perhaps Interstellar can contribute to Utopia on Earth, and planets beyond….
