Interstellar is a fashion label born out of Naarm’s Northside. Stella runs this brand primarily as a creative practice, which explores history, femininity, and spirituality. ‘The Vault’ is a compilation of pieces from the archive that have never before been commercially available. This collection focuses on texture and fluidty through various textile-manipulation techniques.

As this creative practice becomes a business, Interstellar can begin to disrupt the harmful fashion system that exist today. All items are made in-house using natural fibres and sustainable cutting methods. These first steps may seem insignificant, but they are leading us into something bigger…

Stella sees fashion as a portal to Utopia. Fashion reaches so many people; from the farmers growing the textiles, the designers, patternmakers, machinists, stylists, and bodies who wear it - fashion impacts us all. By creating systems rooted in Decolonialism, where people and environments are uplifted rather than exploited, perhaps Interstellar can contribute to Earth;s ultimate Utopia.
