How You See Every Flower
“How You See Every Flower” is inspired by Victorian Aestheticism, which believed that the natural order of things is always most beautiful. The movement contributed to the expulsion of the Victorian Corset in the late 1800s. Various modes of gathering, including smocking, pleating, and shirring, were employed to invoke feminine silhouettes without harming the wearer. This collection embraces these historical techniques into modern archetypes. Beauty is found when we do not contort or control the body, but rather allow the body to be free in all its forms.
